Starting some weeks (or months) ago – sorry I can't be more precise, the
command 'smartctl -a [device]' displays wrong values for the attributes
'Power_On_Hours' and 'LifeTime'. As far as I can see in on case this seems to
happen with Samsung SSD 850 PRO drives

Based on the displayed Values the first startup time of the drive should be
'date -d "Sun May 28 21:33:16 2017 CEST - 15950 hours"' = Mon Aug 3 07:33:16
CEST 2015
but in truth the drive was purchased (Date of delivery note) Mon Apr 4 2016
and the drive was new.
So the maximal possible value for Power_On_Hours could be only 10070 hours.
Because the drive was not up 24/7 during this time, the real value should be
less than 10000 hours.
Another irritating thing is the the output of the following drives:

I've absolutely no idea why the value of the LifeTime attibute varies instead
to increase.
