Package: sugar-browse-activity Version: 200+20170502-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
did a fresh installation of DEBIAN stretch Xfce. Stumbled over that entry in Xfce menu "educational . Browser – surf the world.” The “sugar” package strangely only ships with Xfce, not with the other desktop flavours. The command sequence “sugar-activity webactivity.WebActivity -s” does not work. Unsufficient documentation comes with the package. Tried to find out in two DEBIAN forums, what is behind that “sugar” thing. Nobody could ansdwer. So I am placing a bug report here. Maybe the package just “slipped in”. br -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages sugar-browse-activity depends on: ii gir1.2-evince-3.0 3.22.1-3 ii gir1.2-gconf-2.0 3.2.6-4+b1 ii gir1.2-gdkpixbuf-2.0 2.36.5-2 ii gir1.2-glib-2.0 1.50.0-1+b1 ii gir1.2-gtk-3.0 3.22.11-1 ii gir1.2-pango-1.0 1.40.5-1 ii gir1.2-rsvg-2.0 2.40.16-1+b1 ii gir1.2-soup-2.4 2.56.0-2 ii gir1.2-sugarext-1.0 0.110.0-4 ii gir1.2-webkit2-4.0 2.16.3-2 ii python 2.7.13-2 ii python-cairo 1.8.8-2.2 ii python-dbus 1.2.4-1+b1 ii python-gi 3.22.0-2 ii python-sugar3 0.110.0-4 ii python-telepathy 0.15.19-3 Versions of packages sugar-browse-activity recommends: ii ca-certificates 20161130+nmu1 sugar-browse-activity suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
