Package: vmdebootstrap Version: 1.7-1+nmu1 Severity: normal When bootstrapping an i386 image, vmdebootstrap uses the 486 kernel for wheezy, or the 586 kernel for newer Debian suites. The 586 kernel was a real kernel in jessie, a transitional package in stretch, and disappeared entirely in buster.
It should use the 486 kernel for wheezy, the 586 kernel for jessie
or the 686 kernel for anything newer.
