Package: ibus-gtk3 Version: 1.5.14-3 Severity: normal Not really sure how to report this one since I don't have any real experience with libraries, but here goes...
When building Debian archives from libgtk-3-dev, the test suite fails on multiple tests with failures similar to: ====================================================================== /mnt/storage-1/Programming/C/libgtk-3-dev/gtk+3.0-3.22.11/debian/build/shared_udeb/testsuite/a11y/.libs/value:25354): Gtk-WARNING **: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gtk-3.0/3.0.0/immodules/im-ibus.so: undefined symbol: gdk_wayland_display_get_type ====================================================================== Uninstalling ibus-gtk3 allows the test suites to succeed. Greping ibus-gtk3 source for 'gdk_wayland_display_get_type' comes up with nothing, and it is a confirmed external symbol in '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgtk-3.so.0.2200.18' according to nm, however in 'docs/reference/gdk/gdk3-sections.txt', gdk_wayland_display_get_type is listed in a 'Private' subsection... haven't a clue what this means in reality (why is it listed as an external/global symbol if its private?). Any ideas? Thanks The below info is for this Devuan Ascii machine where it also fails, but the current tests are being done on a Debian Testing VM (Buster/Sid). --- System information. --- Architecture: Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64 Debian Release: stretch/sid 990 testing 10.1.0.3 500 unstable 10.1.0.3 500 quodlibet-unstable lazka.github.io 100 ascii-proposed 10.1.0.3 --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ===================================-+-============ libatk1.0-0 (>= 1.12.4) | libc6 (>= 2.4) | libcairo-gobject2 (>= 1.10.0) | libcairo2 (>= 1.2.4) | libdbus-1-3 (>= 1.9.14) | libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 (>= 2.22.0) | libglib2.0-0 (>= 2.31.8) | libgtk-3-0 (>= 3.9.10) | libibus-1.0-5 (>= 1.5.14) | libpango-1.0-0 (>= 1.14.0) | libpangocairo-1.0-0 (>= 1.14.0) | Package's Recommends field is empty.
