Package: vim-python Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
Probably package neovim should be added to the list of alternative versions of package vim-python. It will allow neovim users install some packages with vim plugins (such as vim- youcompleteme) without installing another versions of vim (right now I have the package vim-nox installed on my system only in order to satisfy dependencies, although I don't use vim-nox). I am not pretty sure that neovim is absolutely compatible with every package that depends on "vim-python", so you should decide whether or not to perform any changes. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'oldoldstable'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ru_UA.utf8, LC_CTYPE=ru_UA.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=ru_UA:ru (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
