I cloned the hgview Mercurial repository from http://hg.logilab.org/master/hgv iew and using that I get the same problem as reported against the Debian package. It seems therefore this is not a Debian packaging issue but a source issue. I have therefore reported this in the source issue system as https://ww w.logilab.org/ticket/10126859
