I should think so. This is the long awaited GNOME 2 port. It's likely that this version will repair a lot of the open bugs. Thomas, I'm running etch. Not sure how feasible pulling in a sid package of this magnitude would be, but once I do have the 2.0 beta on my system, I'd like to help you go through the list of bugs and see which ones have been repaired, or anything else you would find useful.
