Package: xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin Version: 1.6.2-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
The package xfce-whiskermenu-plugin does not recommend (or suggest) that the mugshot package be installed. This can lead to an error dialog when the profile picture is clicked saying Failed to execute child process "mugshot" (No such file or directory) * What led up to the situation? clicked on profile icon near user name in whisker menu * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? installed mugshot package * What was the outcome of this action? clicking on profile picture launches mustshot It is possible that the default profile application for XFCE was changed to mugshot automatically when I installed some other desktop. Somebody who has a vanilla XFCE desktop would be able to say for sure. Nevertheless, since it is definitely possible for mugshot to be the used profile manager, at a minimum it should be a suggested package. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin depends on: ii libc6 2.24-11+deb9u1 ii libcairo2 1.14.8-1 ii libexo-1-0 0.10.7-1 ii libgarcon-1-0 0.4.0-2 ii libgcc1 1:6.3.0-18 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.36.5-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.3-2 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.31-2 ii libstdc++6 6.3.0-18 ii libxfce4ui-1-0 4.12.1-2 ii libxfce4util7 4.12.1-3 ii xfce4-panel 4.12.1-2 xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin recommends no packages. xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
