When there is a colon in the url, for example when called from streamripper2, there is a parse_error, and streamripper shuts down. This issue has been fixed by this commit: https://github.com/XelaRellum/streamripper/commit/5856bd11fdf12e79890db4e59ed58643382adec3 I took only this patch out of the fork, and it fixes the problem.
