I would like to help maintaining makedumpfile. I have updated the package to the latest upstream version, added a watchfile, and fixed a dependendy (kdump-tools depends on file). My git repository is in here: [1]. And packages are in here: [2]. I can do the upload myself, as I am a DD. I would need to fix the version to be 1.6.2-1, instead of 1.6.2-0.1, which I can do quickly and upload this new version, in case you are okay with it. As the package is in collab-maint, I assume it's on a Low Threshold NMU, that is, you wouldn't mind me doing an NMU with those changes. But I would like to confirm this is really okay, and that I can push my changes to the repository. I would like to work on other changes, and start closing some of the other bugs.
