It includes an implementation for working with Intel Running Average Power Limit (RAPL). It also provides the following applications: powercap-info - view powercap control type hierarchies or zone/constraint-specific configurations powercap-set - set powercap control zone/constraint-specific configurations rapl-info - view Intel RAPL hierarchies or zone/constraint-specific configurations rapl-set - set Intel RAPL zone/constraint-specific configurations I suspect this source should produce multiple packages. First, the library only, e.g., libpowercap or libpowercap0 Second, a development package for the library with headers and pkg-config file, e.g. libpowercap-dev Finally, the binaries and man pages, e.g. powercaputils (alternatively, the RAPL-specific binaries could be packaged separately as raplutils - most users would only want the RAPL components).
