Hi, I can only agree with Nelson. These days, a lot of git installations are non-interactive to begin with, as part of some service or so. Nobody is ever going to read the manual pages in such use cases. It's just a waste - and if the packages are being generated separately, anyway, weakening the dependency seems to be just a logical consequence.
