Package: pop-before-smtp Version: 1.36-2 Severity: wishlist
I'd like to see the pop-before-smtp package updated to version 1.39 in testing. Debian's current version is 1.36, which was released about 1.4 years ago. Starting with the 1.37 release, pop-before-smtp has support for cached IMAP connections (as used by Thunderbird), so it would be nice to see this support make it into Debian testing. The upgrade would also fix bugs #275707 and #320461 for Etch. I think bug #292245 is already fixed by 1.36 in Sarge. Bug #289396 could also be closed because pop-before-smtp already has support for a configurable grace period. FYI.
