Hi Laszlo, node-d3 package is required by gitlab 9.5. I think it'd be a good idea to update to 4.x version. Also the current module bundler used (smash) seems deprecated and they recommend using rollup. We have webpack in NEW, rollup in contrib (waiting for rullup-plugin-buble to go to main), and browserify is close to completion. I propose we add a new node-d3 package using 4.x series in the archive and when one of the modern module bundlers are available in the archive, provide libjs-d3 using that. Let me know what you think. If you are okay with the proposal I can help (I already have all dependencies for node-d3 in NEW).
