Package: rsyslog
Version: 8.24.0-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi Michael,

as discussed in upstream issue #1614[1], a backport of rsyslog 8.30.0 to
Debian Stretch would be awesome. You asked for a bugreport against the
Debian rsyslog package in the upstrem issue, so here you are :)

Rsyslog 8.30.0 has been released only yesterday. So probably you're
going to do the packages for Unstable first. But if you could consider
doing the backport afterwards, that'd be awesome.

Thanks a lot for maintaining rsyslog and keep up the good work!

Cheers,
 jonas
