Builds of indexed-gzip continue to fail on hurd-i386 (admittedly not a
release architecture) even with #861463 fixed.

https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=indexed-gzip&arch=hurd-i386&ver=0.6.1-1&stamp=1508582420&raw=0

reports the overall statistics

  > ================ 3 failed, 6 passed, 23 error in 35.05 seconds
=================

where the errors typically (always?) boil down to

          if self.base is not None and hasattr(self.base, 'flush'):
  >           self.base.flush()
  E error: [Errno 1073741902] Function not implemented

  /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/numpy/core/memmap.py:317: error

Could you please take a look? FTR, 1073741902 is 0x4000004e, whose
low bits amount to 78 decimal.

Thanks!
