I did some more tests and it came out that only on non-up-to-date Windows 7 machines freerdp2 doesn't connect, while it works just fine on those updated. Ali, can you confirm that your Windows 7 machine is not actually updated to latest upgrades? In case, please upgrade it and let us know if it works. In that case, please close this bug report.
