Ah, I knew I'd forgotten to do something for this NMU. :-/ I changed my approach to fixing the multi-arch issue after speaking with some people on #debian-mentors. __SIZEOF_LONG__ is a useful constant, supported by GCC and clang, but the developers on #d-m felt that moving the header to /usr/include/<triplet> was a better solution.
