sorry, I mean 'thunderbird --verbose'.
The man page helps in such situations.

Naa, that's not a trick. Now AppArmor isn't working for Thunderbird any
longer. So Think it's clearly a issue within the thunderbird profile of
AppArmor.

Now the profile is disabled you want see any denied messages any longer
for thunderbird.
