G-v-m seems to get confused when mounting disks with many partitions. I have an external USB hard drive with two partitions, which g-v-m tries to mount as soon as the disk is plugged in. Now, several things can happen: both partitions are mounted under their respective mount points (usbdisk and usbdisk-1 in /media), only one gets mounted, or both get mounted but the mount points are reversed. This is a regression, as older versions didn't exhibit this buggy behavior; the partitions were always mounted at the same mount points. I think this started with the hal something/d-bus 0.60/GNOME 2.12 update.
