Very interesting ... and very surprising ... it seems that the forced reautoconf in all directories *did* change something ...
We need to compare the actual file lists in -7 and -8 before we can do these kind of things ... Ahh ... wait ... I guess I have an idea ... there is the patch debian/patches/debian-no-tl-scripts which changes a .am file down there. It probably never had any effect until I found out the dh_autoreconf does not what I thought it does. That would explain the discrepancy, as these files are tl_script files and that is removed. I guess we have to simply remove the files from the rules. I will do this and other checks before actually uploading. Thanks for your insistency!
