Package: gtkhash Version: 1.1-1~bpo9+1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I created a local backport of gtkhash 1.1 for Debian 9 (so that we also have caja-gtkhash). Every second start, the list of hash functions in gtkhash is empty. When this happens, I see the following value/key pair in dconf: hash-functions=@as [] ... instead of the usual one: hash-functions=['MD5', 'SHA1', 'SHA256', 'CRC32'] This makes the whole package very difficult to use for our users (teachers and students) who expect a software package to work everytime. It looks like this is a regression as we can't reproduce this behavior with version 0.7.0 from Debian stable (but there we unfortunately don't have caja-gtkhash). -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.13.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_CH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_CH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_CH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gtkhash depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.26.0-2+b1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.22.0-1 ii libc6 2.24-11+deb9u1 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.14.8-1 ii libcairo2 1.14.8-1 ii libgcrypt20 1.7.6-2+deb9u2 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.36.5-2+deb9u1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.3-2 ii libgtk-3-0 3.22.11-1 ii libnettle6 3.3-1+b2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.40.5-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.40.5-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-5 gtkhash recommends no packages. gtkhash suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
