-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm not a hacker (rather far from it), but I grep'ed the source a bit, and it seems hotswap looks for devices in /dev: /dev/hd{a,c,e,g,h,i,...}; since when udev is running and no device is present no such node(s) exist, hotswap obviously cannot find it, so it fails.
So I suggest to tag hotswap as "conflicts with udev", and close the bug.
