FYI I found while checking bug 886920 that a short term solution might be just to do: --disable-lvm While one might assume --disable-liblvm2aap would do it doesn't since the former internally enabled the latter and then still triggers the issue.
Obviously that isn't the best thing, but better to have a function disabled then having no tool at all. One could also try to somewhat selectively disable Werror on this build as it is only deprecated for now.
