Package: mc Version: 1:4.6.1-1 Followup-For: Bug #307064
Hi, i read this bugreport and tried the newest version hoping that the problems with utf-8 are finally gone. In my case they aren't. If there are german umlauts in a filename, they crash the layout in its line. I recognised that mc depends on libslang2. As I read about that slang stuff, libslang1-utf8 came into my mind. Is utf8 support included in libslang2? regards -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages mc depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6-1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libglib2.0-0 2.8.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgpmg1 1.19.6-22 General Purpose Mouse - shared lib ii libslang2 2.0.5-3 The S-Lang programming library - r mc recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
