When starting pptp manually, I also get the warning message:
| Error: either "to" is duplicate, or "uid" is a garbage.
Since James' patch is obviously about this issue (and makes the warning
disappear), I've uploaded a new version of pptp-linux. You should see it
in a few hours, give it a try. If your problem persists, feel free to
re-open.
