Ok, I tried 21.3+1-6 (-7 wasn't built for ppc it seems) and the problem is the same. My ISO_Level3_Shift key is sort-of interpreted by emacs as beeing another Meta and it will refuse symbols generated with it. Dunno what's wrong, but that basically makes it unuseable. I don't understand why it does that as it has already a perfectly working Meta key on Mod1
