Isn't that a general doxygen issue, rather than of a package that happens to use doxygen with an @example tag? Not generating API documentation for part of the API kind of defeats the purpose of having an API documentation in the first place. So if this is to be fixed in awl instead of in doxygen, instead of your patch I'd tend to review the use of @example tags in inc/iCalendar.php - which seem to produce entirely broken output with doxygen anyway :-( Florian
