Package: redis-server Version: 3:3.2.6-1 Severity: important Tags: ipv6 By default, the redis server only listens on 127.0.0.1, but not on ::1. If a user has mapped localhost to ::1 only (like it was on my server), programs which try to connect to the version on localhost won't get a connection (gitlab in my case).
/etc/redis/redis.conf should bind to both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-6-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages redis-server depends on: ii adduser 3.115 ii init-system-helpers 1.48 ii libc6 2.24-11+deb9u3 ii libjemalloc1 3.6.0-9.1 ii lsb-base 9.20161125 ii redis-tools 3:3.2.6-1 redis-server recommends no packages. redis-server suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/redis/redis.conf [Errno 13] Keine Berechtigung: '/etc/redis/redis.conf' -- no debconf information
