Package: udiskie Version: 1.5.1-2 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
When I install udiskie, I noticed that build-essential also gets installed. This is due to udiskie's dependency on gobject-introspection, which in turn depends on build-essential. I just want to check if it might be possible to change either dependency into a recommend (or suggest). I would like to include udiskie in FreedomBox, but having build-essential installed takes up a significant amount of space. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.3 APT prefers stable APT policy: (700, 'stable'), (500, 'stable-updates') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages udiskie depends on: ii gobject-introspection 1.50.0-1+b1 ii python3 3.5.3-1 ii python3-docopt 0.6.2-1 ii python3-gi 3.22.0-2 ii python3-pkg-resources 33.1.1-1 ii python3-yaml 3.12-1 ii udisks2 2.1.8-1 Versions of packages udiskie recommends: ii gir1.2-gtk-3.0 3.22.11-1 ii gir1.2-notify-0.7 0.7.7-2 ii gnome-shell [notification-daemon] 3.22.3-3 ii notification-daemon 3.20.0-1+b1 ii python3-keyutils 0.4-1 udiskie suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
