Package: enigmail Version: 2:1.9.9-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? Encrypting or decrypting a PGP/MIME encoded attachment with size > 5mb freezes Thunderbird. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Sending a message with attachment to be PGP/MIME encrypted or decrypting a PGP/MIME encrypted message with a attachment >5mb. CPU rises to 100% for several minutes, Thunderbird is unresponsive, Gnome wants to kill it multiple times. * What was the outcome of this action? It works in the end but takes ages, lots of CPU and Thunderbird is unresponsive until its done. * What outcome did you expect instead? Fast de/encryption, it works when using PGP/Inline.
