Package: apcupsd
Version: 3.14.14-1
Severity: normal

Hi there!

I have just noticed the following.

My /etc/apcupsd/apcupsd.conf has the lines:

EVENTSFILE /var/log/apcupsd.events
EVENTSFILEMAX 10

(as in the default), but in spite of this, the log file has grown to
>62k lines, > 3.5MB in size. The first entries are self-test dating
back to 2014, and the last entries are from today. So the log file is
neither being rotated nor cropped.

Best wishes,

   Julian
