* Package name : unum Version : 2.2 Upstream Author : John Walker <b...@fourmilab.ch> * URL : https://www.fourmilab.ch/webtools/unum/ * License : Artistic or GPL Programming Lang: Perl Description : Interconvert numbers, Unicode, and HTML/XHTML entities The unum program is a command line utility which allows you to convert decimal, octal, hexadecimal, and binary numbers; Unicode character and block names; and HTML/XHTML character entity names into one another. It can be used as an on-line special character reference for Web authors. It looks like a useful utility. I have used it in the past when I wanted to look up some unicode characters. As far as I know, it's not a dependency of any other packages. It appears that the "unicode" package (e.g. https://packages.debian.org/stretch/unicode ) provides some of the informational aspects of this utility, but doesn't perform conversion. There is not currently a packaging team (pkg-fonts may be applicable). Radovan GarabĂk <gara...@kassiopeia.juls.savba.sk> currently maintains the "unicode" package. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iHUEAREIAB0WIQT5xLt2Dng/DewQpoprjrOgZc+6qQUCWsZ+AgAKCRBrjrOgZc+6 qYohAP9+F8SI3FKpD4AIp4KpW+pBIyky7lPL/XoBJdP+cefhBgD/QbxotbLPCXzA hGk1d4ZnShkYsno7ULXxTet14ZIoL0mIdQQBFggAHRYhBO7QFYAT3C5tbgAepDe5 UHrP8gFuBQJaxn4LAAoJEDe5UHrP8gFuS6wA/3Xn+X3/qfFlCrZo+Z9mPmc5Pymj LTSQRSczcQZ07l4gAP993b+M70kvf6NFaIjynWQlLSWYpxvGcNUZc+3RP5lPAw== =pqjs -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
