Unfortunately, the spb2 module cannot be loaded due to an error. The start of installation went fine. I set the input-device and output-device to scca, devalias'd 'cd' to the external firewire drive and did 0 > boot cd:,\install\yaboot At the boot prompt, I specified the install64 option: boot: install64 video=ofonly console=ttyS0,57600 Installation started, got all the way up to the point of finding the cd, but then could not find the cd. I went into a shell and tried to load the sbp2 module by hand but got the following error: ~ # modprobe sbp2 Using /lib/modules/2.6.12-1-powerpc64/kernel/drivers/ieee1394/ieee1394.ko Using /lib/modules/2.6.12-1-powerpc64/kernel/drivers/ieee1394/sbp2.ko insmod: cannot insert `/lib/modules/2.6.12-1-powerpc64/kernel/drivers/ieee1394/sbp2.ko': Unknown symbol in module (-1): No such file or directory modprobe: failed to load module sbp2 ------------------------------------------------------------------- Toni Harbaugh-Blackford [EMAIL PROTECTED] System Administrator Advanced Biomedical Computing Center (ABCC) National Cancer Institute Contractor - SAIC/Frederick -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
