Package: amarok-gstreamer Version: 1.3.8-1 Severity: normal I just submitted a bug against the xine engine, this is against the gstreamer engine.
I decided to try the gstreamer engine. It seems to run better than the xine engine does. Probably ran 12 hours before it crashed. When it crashed, no email message was generated to send to KDE (or whoever). Upon restarting amarok, I noticed that the gstreamer settings had changed to point it to afsink (?), instead of the alsasink I had pointed it to. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages amarok-gstreamer depends on: ii amarok 1.3.8-1 versatile and easy to use audio pl ii gstreamer0.8-alsa [gstre 0.8.12-1 ALSA plugin for GStreamer ii gstreamer0.8-artsd [gstr 0.8.12-1 aRtsd plugin for GStreamer ii gstreamer0.8-esd [gstrea 0.8.12-1 Enlightened Sound Daemon plugin fo ii gstreamer0.8-jack [gstre 0.8.10-1 JACK plugin for GStreamer ii gstreamer0.8-mad 0.8.12-1 MAD MPEG audio decoder plugin for ii gstreamer0.8-misc 0.8.12-1 Collection of various GStreamer pl ii gstreamer0.8-oss [gstrea 0.8.12-1 OSS plugin for GStreamer ii gstreamer0.8-polypaudio 0.8.11-2 polypaudio plugin for GStreamer ii gstreamer0.8-vorbis 0.8.12-1 Vorbis plugin for GStreamer ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.1-2 core libraries for all KDE applica ii libc6 2.3.6-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:4.0.2-9 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.8.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgstreamer0.8-0 0.8.12-1 Core GStreamer libraries, plugins, ii libstdc++6 4.0.2-9 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libxml2 2.6.23.dfsg.2-2 GNOME XML library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-9 compression library - runtime Versions of packages amarok-gstreamer recommends: ii gstreamer0.8-audiofile 0.8.12-1 AudioFile plugin for GStreamer ii gstreamer0.8-flac 0.8.12-1 FLAC plugin for GStreamer -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
