Hi, we experienced a similar, probably related, problem in Geany:

The log above is created by the nightly builds from Geany (in this case the set of plugins) in a cowbuilder environment for Sid with i386 arch. The same setup runs fine for amd64 architecture and also for the stable distribution in both architectures. We see this problem at least since 2018-04-25 but the root cause might be older.
