Package: open-iscsi
Version: 2.0.874-5
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I am using open-iscsi to connect to an iSCSI target.
The drive is connected as /dev/sda1.
The root directory is on device /dev/mmcblk0p1.

After unmounting the iSCSI drive I issue the 'reboot' command.
The reboot hangs because after the network is already down
synchronization of the SCSI cache fails:

My expectation is that open-iscsi should close remove /dev/sda when the network
is taken down.

Please, consider that other systems are using iSCSI targets for hosting the
root file system.

Best regards

Heinrich Schuchardt
