Hello I already done the following work so far and uploaded to the repo [1]:
* Imported SVN repo to git. * Migrated debiandoc sgml to Docbook XML. In order to test it, i slightly adapted the debian-handbook build apparatus moslty due to its simplicity. * Merged german an french *.po files with latest version of original text. * Used po4a-gettextize in order to get every translated string in the rest of available languages (spanish, italian, japanese, chinese, portuguese). All languages have at least 30% translated strings. Hope that helps to maintain this good manual. Greetings.
