There is currently a debate within Debian Python about dropping Python2 altogether. While this is not going to happen for the next release, it will likely happen for the following release, and there is a strong reluctance to adding any new python2 packages. All our work is going into the transition to Python3. So, What packages currently need / want python2-xarray ? Can we help in porting? Regards Alastair
