Hi, This bug is rather old and I suspect that the landscape has changed since then. At least, dh_install is and has been recommended over dh_movefiles for quite a while. As it is, I see no renaissance or revival for dh_movefiles - it will remain for the packages that still use it, but I am not planning a new features or changes to its interface. Accordingly, I am now tagging this bug as "wontfix". Thanks, ~Niels
