in recent tornado versions, PeriodicCallback lost the io_loop argument: http://www.tornadoweb.org/en/stable/ioloop.html#tornado.ioloop.PeriodicCallback but sockjs.tornado is still trying to use of it: >>> import sockjs.tornado >>> sockjs.tornado.SockJSRouter(sockjs.tornado.SockJSConnection) Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/sockjs/tornado/router.py", line 111, in __init__ self.io_loop) TypeError: __init__() takes 3 positional arguments but 4 were given Because of this, sockjs.tornado does not work in current Debian Testing.
