You will most likely have to upgrade the libgit2 version to a newer 0.27 first though as there are still many architectures where the testsuite fails. FWIW, I have opened a pull request upstream which should address the alignment issues in libgit2 that affects both sparc64 and some of the mips architectures in Debian [1].
