I think from reading the dpkg-maintscript-helper manpage the version you use is wrong: dir_to_symlink /usr/share/doc/mocha libjs-mocha 4.0.1-1~ meaning the version where the conversion is done must be lower than 4.0.1-1. My understanding is that you need to put 4.1.0+ds-1~ as version since you want to have the coversion done for all prior versions. Kind regards // Viele Grüße Andreas Moog
