before you put more energy on reporting here, I believe all theses problems and issues you probably have discovered are not Debian specific and I can't really following you now. So I hereby want suggesting you forward your experience directly to Mozilla and write down your problems into the Bugzilla bugtracker on Mozilla please? https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ We can set up a forward to the issue on the Buzilla so we get a notice once Mozilla has changed and worked on the report. It's in my eyes a bit problematic for me to forward such complicated behavior as a man in the middle then.
