Package: libhtml-tree-perl
Version: 5.07-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

from buster on, using HTML::TableExtract triggers a lot of (some 33)
warnigs about "Use of uninitialized value" in
/usr/share/perl5/HTML/Element.pm and
/usr/share/perl5/HTML/TreeBuilder.pm

Reproducer:

===========================================================
#!/usr/bin/perl

use 5.010;
use strict;
use warnings;

use HTML::TableExtract qw<tree>;

my $html = <<__EOS__;
<!DOCTYPE html>
<head><title>a title</title>
<body>
<table><tr><td>1</td></td></tr></table>
</body>
</html>
__EOS__

my $te = HTML::TableExtract->new;
$te->parse ($html);
===========================================================

Without the "qw<tree>" import amendment, the warnigs disappear again -
too bad I'm interested in the tree output form.

The actual result seems to be okay, though. So it's mostly visual. Still
somebody(tm) should take a look into that.

    Christoph
