Package: aptitude
Version: 0.8.10-9
Severity: wishlist

If this happens:

[ ERR] Reading package lists
E: Problem renaming the file /var/cache/apt/pkgcache.bin.qwWJaB to
/var/cache/apt/pkgcache.bin - rename (2: No such file or directory)
W: You may want to update the package lists to correct these missing files
E: The package cache file is corrupted

Current status: 0 (+0) broken, 10 (+2) upgradable, 59267 (-1) new.
W: Could not lock the cache file; this usually means that dpkg or another apt
tool is already installing packages. Opening in read-only mode; any changes
you make to the states of packages will NOT be preserved!

Then please say
< W: You may want to update the package lists to correct these missing files
> W: You may want to update the package lists to correct these missing
> files, by using for example, apt-get update.

If that is indeed what you mean.
