Package: gpsd
Version: 3.16-4
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

gpsd 3.17-5+b1 is available for buster and sid. Any chance you could
make it available for stretch backports? I maintain a client for gpsd,
and would like to be able to test it against 3.17 without compiling
and installing from git head and without running testing or unstable
on production machines.

Thanks!
