I am using xinerama with 2 screens next to each other (horizontally). When I use gdm, it appears only on the left screen, which is good because I don't want the dialog box between the two screens and the themes would look ugly if they were stretched. But when the mouse cursor is on the right screen, the dialog box does not have the focus, so I need to move the mouse before I can type my username and password. And when I start gdm, the mouse cursor is on the leftmost column of the right screen, so I am confronted to this issue every time.
