Package: debmake-doc
Version: 1.9-1
Severity: wishlist

Sections 5.11 and 5.22 mention the Autopkgtest command "adt-run".
Typing "adt-run" in Debian stable gives this output as its first line:

adt-run: WARNING: "adt-run" is deprecated, please use
"autopkgtest" (see manpage)

It would be good to have debmake-doc updated to reflect the latest
autopkgtest practices, whatever they are (I am not knowledgeable on
that).

Also, Section 5.11 in the "manpage.*" list item mentions two starting
points for creating man pages: manpage.asciidoc and manpage.1. This
guide could also mention the GNU help2man package, which takes the
output of a program's "--help" and "--version" options to create a
simple man page. help2man is available as a Debian package.

Thanks,

Paul Hardy
