control: retitle -1 Database ends up in wrong location if krb5.conf an kdc.conf differ
control: severity -1 normal control: tags -1 -moreinfo I reread the long bug log. We were never able to reproduce the user's problem. However, the closest we were able to get is that if krb5.conf and kdc.conf differ in what the realm should be, the results are confusing: database in /etc/krb5kdc. This is confusing behavior and we should look at changing it. One solution would be to accept that without a config file stash and acl file belong in /var/lib and then change osconf.hin to put the database in /var/lib/krb5kdc without a config file. We could also make a slightly more invasive patch and codify our behavior in the code. Ben/Russ, any thoughts? --Sam
